Soul of Chi You

The ancient battlefield of Zhuolu bore witness to the fall of Chi You, a defeat that shattered the warlord’s ambitions and reshaped the destiny of mortals. With his downfall, the three great tribes set aside their old rivalries, uniting under a common banner to forge lasting settlements and defend their fledgling civilization. Yet this hard-won peace carried an unforeseen cost: as humanity grew self-reliant, their prayers to the celestial realm grew faint, and the gods found their divine influence waning with each passing generation. Stirred by the creeping silence from below, discord began to fester among the heavens. The celestial court, once sustained by mortal devotion, now faced an existential erosion of power—and in that desperation, old resentments surfaced. Whispers of a second Zhuolu war spread through the divine ranks, a reckless scheme to reignite chaos on earth and restore the gods to their former glory. But such a plan would mean plunging humanity back into bloody tribulation, undoing everything the tribes had sacrificed to achieve. As shadows gather both above and below, the fragile order teeters on the brink—and the soul of Chi You, though vanquished, may yet prove that no defeat is truly final when the world hungers for a new storm.
