Summary

Raw Details
In the vast heartland of the Central Plains, flanked by Mount Long to the southeast and Mount Cuiping to the northwest, flows the Yangshui River. As it courses eastward across the fertile plains, it becomes known as the Ji River before emptying into the sea. It is within this prosperous basin that the Jiuli tribe flourished under the leadership of Chiyou, born Li Tan. United with his eight biological brothers and seventy-two sworn allies, he formed a formidable coalition known as the Eighty-One Brothers. To the south of the Ji River lie the marshes of Juye and Heze, which swell into lakes during the rainy season and recede into wetlands during droughts, serving as a natural barrier against invaders. On the northern bank of the midstream Ji River lies the sunny side of Gu Mountain, a high and level plateau where Chiyou convened his council, while over a hundred li to the west lies Qiongsang, commonly called Yanggu, a secluded valley ideal for secret military training. This epic saga is divided into three volumes: Young Chiyou, Chiyou the War God, and Emperor Chiyou. After studying under the Ancient Divine Ancestor, Li Tan returns at the age of sixteen to reunite with his eight brothers and meet his five wives, alongside legendary figures such as the Wind Earl and Rain Master. Renowned throughout the eastern plains for his mastery of metallurgy and weapon forging, Chiyou proves himself a fearless warrior capable of commanding beasts and summoning storms. Establishing his military headquarters on Gu Mountain and training his grand army in the hidden valley of Yanggu, he builds the powerful Chiyou faction, setting the stage for an epoch-defining struggle against the Yan and Yellow Emperors for dominion over the realm.
