Li Jian, the adopted son of a mafia boss, finds himself forcibly imprisoned in a cemetery by Min Zhao, whose father is a deranged killer. When Li Jian asks if ransom is the motive and offers to have his wife pay any amount, Min Zhao coldly informs him that to the outside world, he is already dead—meaning he can do whatever he pleases. In a burst of defiance, Li Jian strikes Min Zhao, but the blow only earns him a stinging slap in return. Min Zhao reminds him that he once saved his life, to which Li Jian scoffs, calling him a psycho and refusing to show any gratitude. Unmoved, Min Zhao insists that Li Jian will never leave him, claiming he is safer here, locked away from the world.
