Kick Your Heart

Jang Hyeok-Jun, the second son of a wealthy chaebol family, is better known for his scandalous nightlife and tabloid-worthy antics than for any business acumen—much to his father’s perpetual frustration. Hoping to rein in his wayward son, the patriarch hires a personal monitor to keep him out of trouble. But the man who arrives is the last person Hyeok-Jun expected: Choi Jeong-Heon, the ex-lover who vanished from his life four years ago without a word, leaving him completely devastated. Furious and humiliated, Hyeok-Jun is determined to get rid of him—by force if necessary. If his father won’t fire Jeong-Heon, then Hyeok-Jun will drive him out himself. He throws tantrums, picks petty fights, and devises one scheme after another, yet Jeong-Heon remains utterly unflappable: calm, collected, and infuriatingly professional no matter how low Hyeok-Jun stoops. Rummaging through the painful memories of their breakup, Hyeok-Jun finally uncovers what he believes to be the perfect weapon for revenge. “I found it. The way to completely ruin Choi Jeong-Heon…!” But as he sets his plan in motion, the line between vengeance and desire begins to blur—and Hyeok-Jun slowly realizes that the person he most wants to destroy may be the very one he has never truly been able to let go.
