Panagia's Territory

Once dreaded as apex predators, the Zoas are monstrous beings who seamlessly blend into human society behind carefully maintained disguises. In an age long past, their superhuman physicality and grotesque appearances commanded terror and subjugation—but the wheel of fate has turned. Now, the hunters have become the hunted, and these once-feared creatures are ruthlessly pursued by the very people they once dominated, their very existence reduced to a hunted secret that must never see the light of day. For Randa, a single mother quietly raising her child, maintaining that secret is not just a matter of survival—it is the fragile bedrock upon which her entire life is built. Hiding her Zoa heritage behind the mask of an ordinary parent, she has carved out a precarious peace, striving to give her family the normalcy she never knew. That fragile world shatters when a grisly mass murder rocks the community, and all suspicion points to the work of a malevolent Zoa operating in the shadows. As the investigation tightens and paranoia sweeps through the populace, Randa finds herself ensnared in the nightmare, caught between the desperate need to protect her child and the terrifying reality that her concealed identity may expose her as the prime suspect in a crime she did not commit.
