Enen no Shouboutai

In a sprawling, clockwork-driven Tokyo, an unnatural terror has taken hold. Citizens are suddenly and inexplicably bursting into flames, transforming into raging infernos known as spontaneous human combustion. These are no mere accidents; they are possessions by demonic entities, leaving a trail of ash and panic across the metropolis. In response to this blazing crisis, a specialized unit has been forged: the Fire Force, an elite team of pyrokinetic fighters trained to combat these outbreaks the moment they ignite. Among the ranks of this elite brigade steps Shinra, a young man with a singular and volatile gift. He can propel himself at rocket-like velocities, his feet erupting with thrust that leaves behind scorched, distinctive impressions known as the "devil's footprints"—a power that costs him a fresh pair of shoes with every desperate dash. Yet, his ability is more than a weapon; it is his key to uncovering the truth behind the catastrophic phenomenon that plagues their world. As the Fire Force deploys into the heart of the inferno, they are met with a grim race against time. While they battle the possessed and protect the living, the true source of the demonic possession remains shrouded in mystery. With every blaze that consumes another soul, the city's fragile stability crumbles. The question looms: will Shinra and his comrades expose the sinister root of this fiery apocalypse before the relentless flames reduce the entire clockwork capital to smoldering ruin?
