The Secret of My Brother's Friend

When her engagement is abruptly called off by her fiancé in favor of her cousin, low-ranking noble Lucia faces an awkward predicament: she is still expected to attend their wedding. Unable to decline the invitation and with her brother unavailable to stand by her side, he asks his friend Phill—a soldier currently on leave—to escort her in his place. As the days pass, Lucia begins to realize that Phill is far more intriguing than he first appears. What starts as a broken engagement soon unfolds into a sweetly romantic Cinderella story.
