Mother's Contract Marriage

Lilyca is a young girl living in poverty, enduring a difficult daily existence alongside her alcoholic mother. Their bleak routine is abruptly shattered one morning when her mother jolts awake from a nightmare, screaming in distress. Instead of her usual behavior, she begins asking frantic and bewildering questions, expressing shock that Lilyca is alive and noting with confusion that her daughter appears much younger than expected. Desperate for answers, she demands to know the exact current date. Her erratic outbursts quickly escalate into baffling declarations. Convinced that she has somehow returned to the past, she insists that they must immediately attend the Imperial Ball to seek an audience with the Emperor himself. Faced with this sudden torrent of impossible claims and urgent demands, Lilyca is left deeply unsettled. Rather than feeling hope, she begins to fear that her mother's mind has finally fractured completely, leaving her to navigate a world where reality and delusion have suddenly become indistinguishable.
