Ishigami Senki

In the northeastern reaches of the island nation of Hiwazu lies the Mizuho territory, a land of rugged beauty and deep-rooted tradition. Amidst the solemn festivities of his elder brother Lord Saku's wedding day, Ukano Isaza—the younger sibling of the domain's ruler—finds himself an overlooked spectator to a ceremony meant to secure their clan's future. Yet what should have been a celebration of alliance and continuity takes an abrupt and uncanny turn when Isaza comes face-to-face with a being relegated to the realm of myth: a woman of the "stone people," a fabled race long dismissed as nothing more than children's lore. Her sudden and inexplicable appearance shatters the boundaries between legend and reality, thrusting Isaza into a predicament far beyond the politics of noble houses. Before he can comprehend the implications, he is coerced into forging a binding contract with this enigmatic figure—an unholy pact that tethers his fate to hers against his will. With his brother's wedding still echoing in the halls and the weight of his bloodline pressing upon him, Isaza must now navigate the treacherous aftermath of this unholy alliance. The quiet order of Mizuho begins to unravel as ancient secrets stir, and the young lord's second son finds himself caught between the duties of his station and the terrifying, inescapable obligations of a promise made to a creature that was never meant to exist.
