Investiture of the Gods: Zhang Kui Asks?

Zhang Kui, the defending general of Mianchi County under the Shang dynasty, carved his name into legend during the Investiture of the Gods. He slew several renowned generals, including Huang Feihu, from horseback; captured Yang Jian twice; and executed Tu Xingsun. For his prowess, he was enshrined as the "Seven Killings Star." Now, I am that Zhang Kui. Since I must step onto this chessboard, even if I cannot be the one moving the pieces, I will at least become a crucial counter that tips the balance of the entire game. "Seven Killings Star? Hmph. It seems I haven't killed enough yet." In this world, without ruthlessness, there is no footing. Risk everything, and even a Heavenly Venerable can be dragged from his throne. Watch as I raise my blade to split mountains, point my fury at the cosmos, and walk my own path to the truth.
