With the new school year underway, Saotome Hodaka begins his studies at Moteshiro Prefectural High School, a once all-female institution that has only recently opened its doors to male students. He quickly discovers, however, that the school's gender balance is anything but ordinary—for every boy enrolled, there are 359 girls. To an outsider, such odds might sound like a dream come true, but the reality waiting behind the school gates is far harsher: the halls are dominated by delinquents, and before long, Saotome finds himself cornered and shaken down by some of the more ruthless female students. Salvation arrives in an unexpected form. Hanako Kuzuryu, a strikingly beautiful delinquent whose only wish is to be left in peace, steps in and rescues him almost by accident. Could this unlikely encounter mark the beginning of a genuine friendship? And what sort of school life awaits Saotome on a campus overrun by troublesome girls?
