Tenseisaki ga Shoujo Manga no Shirobuta Reijou datta reBoooot!

The annulment of her engagement, delivered matter-of-factly by her grandfather, triggers a cascade of past-life memories for Britney. In that disorienting moment, she realizes the aristocratic world she inhabits is none other than the setting of her favorite shoujo manga—and she has been reborn as the chubby, unassuming sidekick to the story’s notoriously cruel villainess. Recalling the plot with dread, she knows that when the villainess’s tyrannical bullying of the heroine is finally exposed, the blame will be systematically shifted onto Britney, culminating in her own execution as the scapegoat. Desperate to cheat this grim destiny, Britney understands that her only viable escape is to sever her connection to the villainess entirely. Yet the villainess is a narcissist who deliberately surrounds herself with women noticeably plainer and heavier than herself, using them as living accessories to amplify her own allure. If Britney can successfully shed her weight and refine her appearance, she may no longer fit the villainess’s twisted criteria for companionship—and thus slip out from under her shadow. With the gallows looming in her future, she resolves to embark on a rigorous diet, hoping that a slimmer figure will be her ticket to rewriting a fatal ending.
