Summary

Translated Details
Upon returning to his family’s rural home, a boy forms an unusual friendship with Sora-san, a young neighbor who insists she is God. Yet it is Plato, the boy’s pet turtle, with whom Sora shares the deepest connection; the turtle regards her as the ancient Greek philosopher Socrates and addresses her as his teacher. Together, they contemplate life’s mysteries and wonders amid the serene beauty of the countryside.
