Maoyuu Maou Yuusha: Oka no Mukou e

After enduring a long and perilous journey, the Hero finally reaches the Dark Lady’s castle, only to be met with an unexpected request for assistance. He confronts her about the devastating war waged by demons against humanity, which has claimed thousands of lives and left countless others in suffering. The Demon Queen, however, counters that the conflict has inadvertently unified human society. She presents empirical evidence demonstrating that the war has spurred population growth, increased production, stimulated the economy, and improved overall social conditions. Furthermore, she warns that abruptly ending the war would trigger a civil war far bloodier than the current conflict. Convinced that aligning with the Dark Lady offers the most viable path to relative peace, the Hero agrees to support her plans.
