The year is 1988. From the depths of La Gran Sabana in Venezuela, mysterious mechanical living bodies known as the Ancient-JINKI suddenly emerge and begin a devastating assault on humanity. Unable to ignore the escalating catastrophe, Japan establishes a secret organization called Angel, dedicated to defending the world against these enigmatic machine invaders. At the center of the story stands Tsuzaki Aoba, a fourteen-year-old girl with a deep love of building robot models. Her everyday life takes a dramatic turn when she comes face to face with a giant JINKI unit known as the Moribito-2, an encounter that draws her into a conflict far beyond anything she has ever known.
