Sorry, I Got Distracted By Your Looks

Shaped by her mother's dying wish, Leah Uzkal grew up with a single, unshakable obsession: beautiful faces. In a world where noble daughters are bartered for political alliances, her fixation on looks has guided every choice she has ever made—and it is about to collide with her destiny in the most unexpected way. When her arranged marriage is finally announced, Leah is horrified to learn that her betrothed is none other than King Mikrok of Fritan, the man feared across the land as the War Demon. Being promised to a ruthless warrior king is daunting enough; being promised to someone whose face she has never once seen is unthinkable. Unwilling to hand her future over to a stranger, Leah resolves to flee before the wedding can ever take place. But her great escape comes to an abrupt halt when she stumbles straight into the most impossibly handsome man she has ever laid eyes on. "Who are you? State your name and status," he demands coldly. Flustered and enchanted in equal measure, she blurts out the truth: "I'm Leah Uzkal… your future wife"—only to realize she may have just thrown herself into the arms of the very groom she was running from.
