Our Wonderful Days

The first day of high school arrives with the usual flurry of nervous anticipation, but for Koharu, the morning takes an unexpected turn the moment a striking transfer student steps into the classroom. The girl is Mafuyu, and her quiet, radiant presence leaves Koharu momentarily breathless, robbing her of speech. Yet beneath that stunned first impression lies a deeper current—a flicker of familiarity that Koharu cannot quite place, as if the threads of a forgotten past are already weaving their way back into the present. It soon becomes clear that their meeting is no stroke of chance. Mafuyu and Koharu share a hidden history, a tender bond forged in the carefree days of early childhood that time and distance had since obscured. As the two girls gradually piece together their shared memories, the easy warmth of their rediscovered friendship begins to deepen into something far more fragile and profound. Caught between the comfort of nostalgic reverie and the dizzying uncertainty of burgeoning romance, Koharu finds her heart quietly tilting toward a love she never expected to find again. Originally capturing the hearts of readers as a beloved short story on Pixiv, this gentle, sweetly unfolding tale has since grown into a full-fledged series—a lyrical journey of reconnection, where every rekindled glance and hesitant touch writes a new page in a story that was always meant to be continued.
