The Golden Blade: A Jin Yong Rebirth

Reborn as Guo Jing in the world of The Legend of the Condor Heroes—right after saving the warrior Zhebie—he initially plans to follow the original storyline without deviation. But events spiral beyond his control. Temüjin swears an oath of eternal brotherhood. Zhebie scorns the likes of Ögedei and declares that Mongolia cannot rise with such vermin. Lu Youjiao presses him: if Guo Jing does not advance, how can his brothers? If he does not take the throne, how can they become generals and ministers? Even Ögedei pleads to be his sworn brother. Huang Rong mobilizes eight hundred Beggar Sect disciples for a preemptive strike. Faced with this mounting pressure, Guo Jing—blessed by the Eternal Heaven, favored by the Great Fortune, and pitied by Genghis Khan—finally speaks up: "Great Khan, you are wrong. My father Guo Xiaotian is a descendant of Emperor Guo Wei, founder of the Later Zhou Dynasty. The Zhao Song usurped our ancestral realm and murdered my father. How can you enfeoff me as King of Song? You should enfeoff me as King of Zhou!" With his status as the Golden Blade Consort, he fulfills the prophecy of the golden blade and takes up the heavy mantle of restoring the Han legacy.
