Shikabane Kaigo

Is that woman already dead? Beyond the door, a grotesque figure lies motionless in bed. Akane Kuritani, a newly hired caregiver, arrives at a remote Western-style mansion nestled deep in the mountains to serve as a live-in attendant for its bedridden owner, Kiwako Miyazono. Seeking a fresh start, Akane is horrified to discover that Kiwako exudes a foul stench, her skin discolored and her face concealed beneath a burlap sack—an appearance that leaves little doubt she is a walking corpse. The care required is clearly far from ordinary. Originating from a Kadokawa Horror Bunko novel, this chilling tale of nursing care terror begins.
