Adashino Kishokan

Since ages past, the boundary between the natural world and the unseen has been perilously thin. From this fragile rift emerge the strange and the deadly: curses that fester in the dark, spirits bound by rage or sorrow, and monsters born of human fear. These phenomena, known collectively as "anomalies," are a constant, simmering threat to the peace of everyday life. Left unchecked, they can corrupt, destroy, or consume entire communities, their influence spreading like a plague through the shadows of society. To combat this ever-present danger, the world relies on the expertise of the Anomaly Inspector. Among these elite guardians stands Adashino Abi, a figure whose very presence signifies a decisive confrontation with the supernatural. His is not a life of glory, but of meticulous duty. Each day brings a new case, a fresh plea for help, and another step into the unknown. Whether it is tracing the origin of a hex in a forgotten village or confronting a rampaging specter, Abi’s work is an unending cycle of investigation and extermination. Today is no exception. Armed with his knowledge and resolve, Abi prepares to face another anomaly, knowing that the line between order and chaos is drawn by his actions alone. In a world where the extraordinary is commonplace, his solitary battle continues, a testament to the relentless struggle required to keep the darkness at bay.
