Boy Meets Maria

With his sights set on the spotlight, Taiga wastes no time after enrolling in high school, diving headfirst into the drama club as the first step toward his acting aspirations. It is there that he crosses paths with Maria—a figure of such striking beauty and quiet mystery that Taiga finds himself instantly and irrevocably captivated. What begins as a fervent crush soon deepens into genuine affection, yet the foundation of his burgeoning feelings is shaken when a startling revelation comes to light: the enchanting Maria is, in fact, a boy. This confession, however, proves to be only the surface of a far more intricate enigma. As Taiga grapples with his own heart and the nature of his attraction, he begins to realize that Maria’s identity cannot be so easily defined or dismissed. The question of who Maria truly is—beyond gender, beyond expectation—becomes a consuming pursuit that challenges Taiga’s understanding of both love and self-expression. Beautifully rendered in a single, self-contained volume, this evocative tale delves deep into the transformative power of human connection. It is a poignant meditation on the masks we wear, the truths we hide, and the boundless, often disorienting, fluidity of desire—inviting readers to look past labels and discover the profound, complicated heart that beats beneath them.
