Sometimes Even Reality Is a Lie!

Kaoru Terasaki is a devoted MMORPG player, and the day he has long anticipated has finally arrived: he is meeting his online friend of several years in person for the very first time. Anxious about the encounter, Kaoru dreads that his friend will feel deceived upon learning the female avatar he has befriended actually belongs to a guy. What he never sees coming, however, is that the shock will cut in the opposite direction. Rather than another male player, Kaoru's friend turns out to be Nanami Ousaka, an adorable girl. The complications only multiply from there: Nanami has already assured her parents that she will be bringing home a female friend, and her father proves to be the fiercely protective sort—a man who flatly refuses to let any boy anywhere near his beloved daughter. Left with no other way out of the predicament, Kaoru has just one option: disguise himself as a girl and play the role convincingly. As the masquerade continues and the two spend more time together in the real world, can Kaoru keep up the act? And will their bond remain a simple friendship, or will these moments shared IRL rewrite everything? Follow the pair's romantic-comedy misadventures to find out!
