BB Project

In the city of Kyoto, a secret war has been unfolding between extreme Japanese teenagers who advocate for the exclusion of foreigners and those who support their integration. To prevent further violence between rival gangs, both sides have agreed to settle the fate of foreigners in an underground tournament, where the best fighters from each side will clash. The "Black Boat Project," or "B.B. Project," is a nod to Commandant Perry's "Black Boats," which symbolize the arrival of foreigners on Japanese soil. Franck, a young Parisian who loves to fight, arrives in Kyoto under the guise of studying, but his true intentions are to indulge in the "Japanese dream" of charming local girls and spending his time in video-game rooms. However, his innate nature is quickly reignited when he finds himself entangled in a fight between hooligans and the enigmatic Megumi, unwittingly drawing him into the B.B. Project.
