Asobi Asobase

This surreal gag comedy centers on three female classmates whose pastime consists of playing simple hand games. The first is exceptionally skilled at these games yet harbors a deep resentment toward them, having been forced to perform chores throughout her childhood after repeatedly losing to her older sister. The second is of American heritage but was raised in Japan, and her apparent struggle with the Japanese language is merely an act. The third typically serves as an observer during their matches and consistently ends up on the losing side against her two friends.
