Souji has always idolized his older sister Maki, placing her on a pedestal so high that romance seems beneath her entirely. That illusion cracks when she asks for his help choosing a birthday present for her crush, forcing him to accept that she is an ordinary girl after all. With nothing left to hold him back, he recalls a hypnotic technique he experimented with years ago and resolves to make Maki his, and his alone. In a companion story, Tadashi lives alone to attend school until his older sister Kaho moves in—too ashamed to face their parents after another drama-inspired career fell through. She handles the chores while he attends class, but one day Tadashi comes home to find her asleep in his bed, hugging his clothes. Meanwhile, Haru has never thought of his childhood friend Akane as a girl, convinced he is the only boy who would ever show interest in her. A simple change of hairstyle shatters that delusion and plunges him into a depression that keeps him bedridden—until Akane comes to check on him, and for the first time in years, he truly sees her. Finally, in a bonus chapter, an evening spent watching a program about dogs prompts Souji to use his hypnosis on Maki once more—this time convincing her that she is a dog.
