Ushiro no Shindere-san

Karugasaki Tora, following his best friend's advice, deliberately repeated a grade and adopted a delinquent persona in a bid to gain popularity. However, his plan ultimately backfired, leaving him isolated in his new classroom. His only solace is the cute girl sitting beside him, but when he attempts to strike up a conversation, she responds by kicking him and tossing him out the window. Later that day, fate intervenes as Karugasaki saves her and a young girl from being struck by a truck. With her inability to avoid him now, the girl reveals a surprising truth: she is a ghost participating in a shinigami's game, where she must coax the boy she likes into reciprocating her feelings within the time limits set by a pair of hourglasses in order to return to the world of the living. Failure would condemn her to hell, accompanied by the boy. Unfortunately for her original plans, her feelings have begun to shift towards Karugasaki.
