Shiba Inu Rooms

After an overwhelmingly positive response to its original one-shot run, this beloved series makes its long-awaited return. The story centers on a pristine, newly built 1LDK apartment—a unit that appears to be the perfect find, especially given its astonishing monthly rent of just 4,800 yen. Naturally, such an incredible bargain comes with a peculiar twist: the property is haunted by the earthbound spirit of a Shiba Inu. Moving into this unusual dwelling is Kori, a high school girl whose cool exterior is tempered by a noticeably awkward social side. She soon discovers that her supernatural roommate, Mu-chan, is far from a typical ghost. This quirky Shiba Inu spirit brings not frights, but a delightful brand of canine mischief and surprising warmth into Kori’s everyday routine. As the stoic girl and her playful phantom dog learn to share their living space, a heartwarming comedy unfolds—one that turns the challenges of an unlikely cohabitation into an endearing tale of growing companionship.
