For a decade, Keisuke Nijima has existed in the gray twilight of grief. The vibrant life he once shared with his beloved wife was extinguished in a single, cruel moment by a traffic accident, leaving him adrift in a world stripped of color and meaning. His days have become a mechanical procession, his heart sealed away in the shrine of memory, with no hope of ever moving forward. The warmth of their home has long since faded, replaced by the cold stillness of a life put on permanent hold—until an unassuming knock at his door shatters the silence. Standing on his threshold is an elementary school girl, her small frame and childish features belying the staggering weight of her words: she claims to be the reincarnation of his deceased wife. What follows is an impossible reunion, where the devoted husband must grapple with a surreal second chance that defies all logic and reason. As this young stranger recounts intimate details only his late wife could know, Keisuke finds himself torn between the rational world he clings to and the desperate hope that flickers in her innocent eyes. Thus begins a profoundly unconventional chapter in a life that had long been frozen. The quiet, enduring love of a heartbroken man finds an unexpected vessel, and the mundane rhythms of daily existence are slowly infused with a bizarre yet tender new dynamic. As he navigates the complicated waters of this reincarnated relationship, Keisuke is forced to confront the ghosts of his past while tentatively embracing a future he never thought possible—one lived alongside the most devoted husband and his now elementary school wife.
