I Became an Evolving Space Monster

Adrift in the endless silence of deep space, sealed within a cargo compartment of cold, unyielding metal, the protagonist comes to a chilling realization: he is no longer human. Against all logic, he has awakened as the antagonist of a science-fiction survival game—a hostile extraterrestrial life form inhabiting a body and a world that are not his own. The frozen darkness of the hold offers no answers, only the steady presence of the vessel carrying him through the void. He recognizes the universe around him for what it truly is: a game built upon survival, one in which he now stands on the wrong side of the story. The role assigned to him is that of the creature to be feared and opposed, a monster written into the narrative as its enemy. Stripped of everything familiar and cast as the very threat the story revolves around, he faces an uncertain existence among the stars. What lies ahead is a struggle to endure—to adapt, to persist, and to carve out a path forward in a universe designed to treat him as its villain.
