Yoshiko, a diligent high school student, dedicates herself to helping others, never faltering in her efforts to support her friends, including her home-bound classmate who has been absent from school for a while. Her daily routine includes copying class notes for her friend and running errands, until one day she spots "black snow" falling from the sky on her way back from a delivery. Assuming her friends Miki and Kiriko must have seen it too, she is met with confusion and concern about her own health. As the black snow becomes a recurring phenomenon, Yoshiko involves her friends in her uncle's care-taking, planning a night of karaoke to follow. However, their evening is disrupted by a mysterious and ominous event triggered by the black snow, which sets a chain of strange occurrences in motion.
