The Devil is a Part-Timer!

Being a fearsome overlord means little when the rent is due. After suffering complete defeat at the hands of a determined hero, the mighty Devil King Sadao Maou is cast out of his realm and stripped of every ounce of his magical power. Alongside his loyal general, Shiro Ashiya, he finds himself banished to modern-day Tokyo, where his once-terrifying domain shrinks to a cramped apartment and his grand ambitions collide with mundane reality. To survive in this powerless new world, Sadao takes a job at a fast-food restaurant, trading conquest for customer service as he fries up meals and sets his sights on a coveted promotion. Navigating everyday life proves more challenging than any battlefield, as the former ruler of darkness grapples with bills, work shifts, and the humbling realities of an ordinary existence. Just as the fallen demon lord begins adjusting to his routine, the hero who defeated him resurfaces, still intent on finishing the fight once and for all. What unfolds is a comedic clash of wills, in which world domination proves far more elusive than a restaurant promotion—and the aspiring conqueror of humanity must first learn to master the fry station.
