Our Youth

Jin-Hyuk is the very picture of a model student—dedicated, diligent, and driven. He dreams of the day he'll have a home and a car to call his own, and he understands that admission to a prestigious university is the only path to that future. His repetitive cycle of classes and studying suits him just fine. That is, until one day, while cutting through a rough part of town, he spots a familiar face. That kid... they share a homeroom, don't they? But he's exactly the sort of person Jin-Hyuk should stay away from—the kind destined to grow up a lowlife, not someone a boy raised as properly as Jin-Hyuk has been should ever get involved with. And yet... what was his name again? Hee-Chan, right? He's being beaten by his own father. No—just keep walking. Jin-Hyuk should have nothing to do with Hee-Chan, but something keeps drawing their paths together. Could Hee-Chan be exactly what Jin-Hyuk needs to shake off the quiet emptiness that has settled over his life? Includes four bonus chapters.
