Ballboy Tactics

After hanging up his leotard for good, Olympic gymnast Han Ji-Won believed he had already faced the most grueling trials life could throw at him. Yet nothing in his medal-clad career could have braced him for the mundane terror of university hallways—where his reclusive, painfully introverted nature turns every lecture and cafeteria visit into a silent ordeal. Just as he begins to accept his role as an invisible wallflower, the arrival of Kwon Jung-Woo shatters his fragile peace. A basketball prodigy with a devastating smile and a reputation that precedes him, Jung-Woo is everything Ji-Won instinctively avoids: loud, popular, and effortlessly magnetic. Initially dismissing the athlete as just another arrogant jock, Ji-Won is thrown off balance when forced interactions reveal unexpected layers of warmth beneath Jung-Woo's icy game-face. From shared glances across the court to quiet moments that defy their public personas, an improbable connection begins to form. But bridging the gap between a shy ex-champion and a campus star demands more than just courage. As their worlds collide, Ji-Won must decide if he has the nerve to attempt the most precarious routine of all—opening his heart to someone who seems, on paper, entirely out of his league.
