Einen Koyou wa Kanou Deshou ka: Buaisou Mukuchi na Mahou Tsukai to Hajimeru Sai Shuushoku Life

After three years of loyal service, Lucille is abruptly cast out of the mansion where she lived and worked as a maid. Undaunted, she travels to the countryside in search of new employment, where fate leads her to the home of Phyllis—a reclusive, tight-lipped wizard with a famously unfriendly disposition. Serving such a difficult master proves no simple task. Phyllis despises anything he considers "unnecessary," turning even the smallest duties into potential missteps. Yet the position is, remarkably, a genuine stroke of fortune for Lucille. Determined to keep it at all costs, she quietly studies her employer's habits and moods, carefully sidestepping the "superfluous" landmines that could cost her the job. But the longer Lucille spends in Phyllis's company, the more she glimpses beyond his chilly exterior. Far from being simply obstinate, he possesses a hidden side she never anticipated—and as her understanding of him deepens, Lucille finds her feelings toward her taciturn master gradually beginning to change.
