Shin Big Magnum Kuroiwa Sensei

Shrouded in mystery, Tetsuo Kuroiwa is an agent of unknown age and origin, operating under the auspices of the Ministry of Education's Special First Instructional Education Department. With the highest official authorization to carry firearms, he is a lone operative dispatched into the heart of Japan's most broken and dangerous schools. His mission is not to teach in any conventional sense, but to bring order to institutions on the verge of total collapse, confronting corruption, student delinquency, and the exploitation of the vulnerable. This modern revival of the classic series places Kuroiwa in the thick of escalating crises that standard educational authorities cannot handle. Armed and unorthodox, he wades through a world of institutional decay, where truancy and violence have become the norm. His methods are radical, his resolve absolute, and his true identity a closely guarded secret. As he moves from one troubled institution to the next, he meets school officials paralyzed by bureaucracy and students who have fallen prey to a system that has abandoned them. For Kuroiwa, restoring order requires a heavy hand, and he is prepared to go to any lengths to confront the failures festering within the educational system.
