Post-Possession Damage Control

For a full decade, my body was never truly my own. Some unseen entity lived in my skin, steering my life while I remained a powerless spectator. I might have tolerated the invasion had the possessor exercised even a shred of restraint. Instead, "that person" used my face to walk down the aisle, trap a man in marriage, and cling to him with an almost obsessive devotion—leaving me to inherit a mess I never asked for. My younger brother, who never missed a chance to belittle me, has suddenly developed an irrational, possessive jealousy, demanding to know why I seem to favor others over him. Most baffling of all is my father—the man who spent a decade looking at me with undisguised contempt—now insisting I remain confined within these walls, forbidden to depart. Every person who once wished me gone is now desperately trying to hold me back. Their obsession is suffocating, and I am left wondering: what changed? Or more frighteningly—was it ever really *me* they were fixated on in the first place?
