Unnamed Memory

As a child, Crown Prince Oscar of Farsas was burdened with a cruel malediction: a curse of infertility that threatened to end his royal line before it could truly begin. For years, the shadow of this hex loomed over his future, rendering every hope of succession hollow. Upon reaching his twentieth year, Oscar resolved to seek an impossible solution, embarking on a perilous journey to the remote tower of Tinassha, the continent's most formidable and feared witch, whose power was whispered to rival the gods themselves. Yet the witch he found was not the monster of legend. After a fateful encounter within her arcane sanctuary, Oscar did not merely secure a cure for his curse; he returned to his kingdom with Tinassha herself at his side, bound to serve as his personal protector under a contract that would expire in one year's time. As the sovereign and the sorceress navigated the treacherous politics of the court and the dangers that prowled the realm, their uneasy alliance began to peel back the layers of Tinassha's immortal past. In unraveling the sorrows and secrets she carried from centuries of existence, Oscar finds himself drawn into a conspiracy far older than his kingdom, and a destiny that will test the fragile bond between a prince and the witch who was destined to be his ultimate foe.
