Summary

Official Details

Hunters are beings brought into power through the backing of their sponsors. Among their number stand twelve heroes who burn brighter than all the rest—figures so exalted that they declare themselves gods and raise up Eden, a dominion that comes to rule the entire world. This is the age into which Lee Joon-kyung is born. As an ordinary man with no awakening of his own, Joon-kyung exists at the bottom of a hierarchy ruled by hunters, scraping by in the same subjugated condition as every other powerless human. Like the rest of the unawakened masses, he is reduced to little more than livestock, with nothing to distinguish his life from theirs. There is only one exception: a single book in his possession. Its pages chronicle the life of the Demon Lord—a figure erased from memory, yet the world's one true hero. And bound within that story is the name of Athena, one of the twelve sovereigns.
