Nostalgic Warrior

After a decade of ceaseless warfare, So Cheon-Ho—the warrior feared across the battlefield as the Ghost Wolf—returns to his homeland, only to find his world in ruins. His father has passed away, and his disciple-brother, a man who had been as dear to him as family, has vanished without leaving a single trace behind. For a brief, fragile stretch of days, Cheon-Ho allows himself a taste of peace in the company of his childhood friend, So-Hyae, and dares to believe happiness might still be within reach. But fate grants him no mercy. Stricken by illness, So-Hyae breathes her last, entrusting her young daughter, Hui-Yeon, into his care—leaving Cheon-Ho to shoulder yet another devastating loss even as it places someone in his life worth protecting. Stripped of nearly everyone he ever cherished, Cheon-Ho lets the Ghost Wolf's howl ring out once more—this time echoing through the Murim itself. With grief hardened into iron resolve, he hurls himself into an endless war against the martial artists, a man with nothing left to lose unleashing ten years of battlefield fury upon the martial world.
