This is the Sorcerer's Trump Card

Rix, a master swordsman forged by years of relentless combat, has grown thoroughly weary of the bloodstained battlefields that once defined his existence. Seeking a complete change of life, he stages his own death amid the fighting and quietly retires from the warrior's path altogether. His plan for reinvention is as bold as it is improbable: he enrolls in the Magic Institute, despite possessing absolutely no aptitude for magic. What Rix lacks in sorcerous talent, however, he more than compensates for with the foundational skills of a lifetime spent honing the blade. Time and again, he overwhelms the institute's trained sorcerers through sheer swordsmanship alone. Though entirely without intention on his part, he keeps demolishing every scrap of common sense the academy holds dear, upending its established order with each passing day. Such an unorthodox display of strength cannot stay hidden for long—and it is precisely these battles that catch the eye of the Empress herself, drawn irresistibly to the spectacle he creates.
