Forget

Fukano-kun is an ordinary middle school student navigating the daily challenges of adolescence, but he struggles with a persistent and frustrating condition: a profound inability to retain memories. For him, recalling everyday events, lessons, and interactions is a constant battle, leaving him disconnected from the world around him as details slip effortlessly from his mind. This chronic forgetfulness shapes his entire existence, isolating him in a quiet, fleeting present where almost nothing leaves a lasting impression. Yet, amidst this haze of lost recollections, there exists a singular, striking exception. While nearly everything else fades into obscurity, Fukano-kun holds onto one specific memory with absolute clarity. This sole, unwavering recollection stands in stark contrast to his otherwise fragile mind, anchoring him in ways he cannot fully explain. The one-shot "Forget" explores the poignant reality of a young boy defined by what he loses, driven forward by the one precious thing he simply cannot let go.
