Mirumo de Pon!

Kaede is a spirited and cheerful eighth grader who turns hopelessly shy whenever boys are involved. One afternoon, while walking home from school, she wanders into a peculiar shop and purchases a brightly colored cocoa mug. Upon returning home, she inspects the bottom of her new purchase and discovers an engraved inscription claiming that anyone who reads it aloud while pouring hot cocoa will summon a love fairy known as a muglox to grant their deepest wish. Though skeptical, Kaede’s curiosity gets the better of her. She follows the instructions and wishes for a chance to date Yuuki, the most popular boy in her class. Instead of a straightforward miracle worker, her ritual summons Mirumo, an adorable blue muglox far more interested in eating chocolate and causing trouble than granting wishes. As it turns out, Mirumo is actually the prince of the muglox realm, having fled his homeland to escape an arranged marriage with Princess Rirumu. Now, a chaotic trail of pursuers—including the determined princess, a bounty hunter named Yashichi, and countless other eccentric fairies—follows him into the human world. With this colorful cast of magical mischief-makers descending upon her daily routine, Kaede soon realizes her ordinary school life will never be the same.
