This Boy in Class

Tsubaki Imai is a quiet girl who has never been comfortable in the spotlight. She struggles to connect with the confident, popular students around her—the loud boys and the cheerful girls who seem to belong so easily. So when she is assigned the seat beside Mamoru, a large, unfriendly, and intimidating boy known throughout the school, she is far from pleased. His presence only makes her more uneasy, and she expects nothing but distance between them. Everything changes when both Tsubaki and Mamoru become class presidents. Their new responsibilities force them to speak, work together, and slowly look beyond first impressions. As their conversations grow more natural, Tsubaki begins to see Mamoru in a new light.
