A scheduling error at a business partner's company brings Kai and Masa, two childhood friends, back into each other's lives. Their reunion is incomplete, however: Jun, the third member of their childhood trio, is absent. She and Masa have divorced. For Kai, who has always been indifferent to romance, this unexpected encounter awakens the first glimmer of hope for his lifelong unrequited love toward Masa.
