Strangers from Hell

Yoon Jongwoo is a young man from the countryside who travels to the sprawling metropolis of Seoul in search of new opportunities. Upon arriving in the bustling city, he quickly realizes that surviving on a limited budget requires making significant compromises. Seeking affordable lodging, he rents a room in a goshiwon—a cramped, low-cost boarding house typically inhabited by struggling students and individuals facing financial hardship. Far from the comfort of his rural home, this claustrophobic and dilapidated living space becomes his new reality. However, the oppressive atmosphere of the building is only the beginning of his troubles. Almost immediately after moving in, Jongwoo finds himself surrounded by an unsettling cast of neighbors whose behaviors defy normalcy. What begins as a simple attempt to establish a modest life in the capital slowly unravels into a deeply disturbing experience. As he navigates the narrow, dimly lit hallways of the goshiwon, he is subjected to a series of bizarre and increasingly chilling encounters with the other residents. Trapped in a place where privacy is nonexistent and danger feels ever-present, Jongwoo must confront the terrifying truth about the strangers sharing his roof and the dark secrets hidden within the walls of his new home.
