Monster Paradise

Eight centuries ago, the fabric of reality shattered when three thousand dimensional gates tore open across the globe. Like a multitude of mismatched eyes blinking awake all at once, these rifts unleashed an unending tide of monsters that poured forth like falling tears. The invaders were as varied as they were terrifying. Some possessed the raw, devastating strength to shatter fortified city walls with a single blow, towering over the landscape with colossal frames and an insatiable hunger for human flesh. Others operated as living parasites, latching onto their victims to drain their vital nutrients and bend them into absolute subjugation. Still more proved dangerously cunning, slipping unnoticed into human settlements disguised as ordinary citizens while secretly sustaining themselves on human blood. In a single night, the established order of the world was violently overturned. Humanity, once the dominant force on Earth, was abruptly cast down to the very bottom of the food chain. Stripped of their supremacy and hunted by creatures born from countless fractured dimensions, mankind was left to struggle for survival in a ruined civilization. The Earth no longer belonged to its original inhabitants; it had been irrevocably transformed into a boundless paradise for monsters.
