Sengoku Bocchi

Takasugi Ichirouta is a high school student whose intense passion for the Warring States period has earned him the reputation of a history otaku among his peers. While exploring the ancient ruins of a castle in northern Gunma Prefecture, his ordinary life is shattered when a mysterious light suddenly engulfs him. Upon regaining consciousness, he makes an astonishing discovery: he has been transported directly into the very era he has spent his life studying. His abrupt arrival places him inside Kuoyama Castle, a small fortress currently under heavy siege by the formidable Houjou army. With no means of escape, Ichirouta is thrust into the chaos of war and forced to take action. Drawing upon his extensive historical knowledge, he must step up to lead the defending samurai, all while unraveling strange mysteries and navigating life alongside a cast of beautiful girls who surround him. As the siege intensifies, Ichirouta faces a daunting dual challenge. He must secure the survival of the besieged garrison using nothing but his wits and his understanding of the past, yet his most pressing question remains far more personal. Amidst the clash of swords and the unfolding enigmas of this turbulent era, he must ultimately find a way to return to his own time.
