Twenty-two years ago, a cataclysmic seismic event isolated the Yokohama district, miles into the sky, transforming it into a separate world. In the aftermath, a subset of newborns began to manifest extraordinary powers, each tied to their unique personalities, and came to be known as Alters. These mutations led to the devastation of the former metropolis, now on the path to rebirth. The Alters have divided into two factions: HOLY, a rigid organization seeking to restore order and morality, and those who seek dominance over the weaker humans. Caught in the middle is Kazuma, a powerful Alter driven solely by self-preservation, and his bond with Kanami, an orphan girl. Suspicious of both sides, Kazuma may hold the key to achieving coexistence between Alters and humans.
