Sozai Shu is a 26-year-old single man and an avid gamer with a natural habit for collecting. After losing his life while reveling in the joy of obtaining a rare material in a game, he is transported to another world by the power of God. Wanting to make his new life easier, Shu prays for the ability to gather materials at his own pace. His wish is granted, but the power turns out to be strangely strong and convenient. In a different world filled with unknown materials, Shu struggles to collect a variety of resources. His aim is not conquest or heroism, but a rich and relaxed existence centered on gathering. The story follows his efforts to make the most of his granted ability, seeking a peaceful life in an unfamiliar land where every material he gathers may help him build the leisurely future he desires.
