Cynthia, the daughter of a margrave, has spent her life in the expansive countryside, a region renowned for housing the kingdom’s finest army. Her sheltered routine is interrupted when she travels to the royal capital to attend her first evening party. There, amid the social gathering, she becomes an unexpected witness to a scandal: a duke’s son is publicly condemned by a selfish princess, and their engagement is shattered.
